The Ground
THE PITCH
(a) All International matches will be played on a surface mutually agreeable to the participating teams.
(b) The middle of the pitch has to be clearly marked with a line across.
(c) Lines shall be drawn to make an area which measures ten 10) feet from the batting crease at each end. The coloured line of no more than two feet be drawn at each batting end on leg side and off side. This line is so marked to indicate where the Runner shall stand.
The pitch is 22 yards long and 3 yards wide.
The crease shall be lines drawn across the pitch at a distance of 4 ft from each end.
Wide ball markings are made at both ends of the pitch on either side of the wickets at a distance of 3 ft from centre stump.
THE BOUNDARIES
(a) The boundary shall be a minimum of 45 yards and a maximum of 55 yards measured from the middle stump in a complete half circle from each respective Wicket and should be joined by parallel lines. Sufficient boundary markings should be made to help identify the boundaries.
(b) The boundary marking shall be made using a rope of one inch thickness or a white boundary line.
(c) Likewise a 20 yard circle also to be drawn.
