1st ODI Australia v England
A close match, but Australia were outplayed by England. The day started well with the sky only lightly cloudy, and Australia taking a wicket with the first ball. As the day progressed the weather deteriorated, and Australia’s outlook also clouded over, ending with the skies shedding tears over Australia’s narrow defeat.
Man of the Match was awarded to Nick Haydar, for an innings of approximately 35 overs and a score of 105.
